Automotive Warranty Specialist

About the role

MSX International, a partner to vehicle manufacturers, retailers and mobility organisations for more than 30 years, is looking for a proactive Warranty Specialist to join its team in Rome. The role reviews and assesses all warranty claims against customer policies and technical procedures, evaluates claims, ensures correct allocations and determines the appropriate warranty response, which is tracked in a database.

Key responsibilities

• Manage warranty claims and/or pre-approvals day by day according to workload
• Verify the application of warranty policies and procedures
• Check claims integrity and correctness against customer systems
• Address claims control according to dealer behaviour and deficiencies
• Communicate with customers about cases under analysis
• Report KPI results
• Review claims for coding accuracy and ensure repairs comply with reported faults and brand standards
• Answer dealer and workshop enquiries by email and phone, and correspond with dealers and Brand Management on claim evaluations and amendments

Required profile

• Experience handling warranty cases
• Knowledge of warranty terms and rules
• Understanding of workshop processes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective collaboration across functions, initiative and results orientation
• Flexibility and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency in Italian and English

Required skills

• Proficiency in mechanical and electronic diagnostics
• Familiarity with technical documentation

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00.
