Business Controlling Internship

About the role

Barilla is offering a six-month internship in its Finance Business Controlling team at its headquarters in Parma. It gives hands-on experience in a dynamic FMCG environment, with a focus on finance and controlling within the Italian market and on real business activities and decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Support the monthly and quarterly update of reporting packages, focusing on product profitability analysis
• Prepare and monitor monthly accruals
• Develop profitability simulations for business projects and commercial initiatives
• Support the integration and analysis of Net Sales data and statistics
• Contribute to forecasting and budgeting activities
• Support the management and monitoring of overhead cost centers
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support business decisions

Required profile

• Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Management Engineering or a related field (recent graduates or students close to graduation)
• Fluency in both Italian and English
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with strong attention to detail
• Strong interest in Finance, Controlling and Business Performance Management within an FMCG environment
• Proactive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast-paced international environment

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
