Chef de Partie - Luxury Hotel Restaurant

About the role

Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel, a five-star luxury hotel perched on an 80-metre cliff overlooking the Amalfi coast, is hiring a Chef de Partie for the 2025 season. The role works closely with the restaurant chef to run a kitchen area safely and profitably, supporting the development of cuisine concepts and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise all activities within a restaurant kitchen area with the restaurant chef, ensuring a safe, smooth-running and profitable operation.
• Support the development of cuisine concepts and standards, know local markets and suppliers and recommend menu changes according to seasonal availability.
• Follow food preparation and presentation guidelines to keep quality consistent.
• Maintain food safety and protection, including dating, proper storage and rotation of food, and basic sanitation practices.
• Keep the outlet safe and manage the assets of all outlet property and facilities.
• Take part in departmental training and promote positive cooperation between departments.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality or Business.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in luxury hotels or high-level restaurants.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, proven ability to work with a diverse team, and a creative, self-motivated approach to teamwork and customer service.
